Tintern Cottage was originally part of a working farm - the residence of a series of local sheperds since its construction in the late 18th century. It was converted into a holiday cottage in 2008, carefully preserving all the important rustic features that make the cottage such a charming place to stay. The original stone walls stand dry and solid, and both the beamed ceilings and the wooden floors have been painstakingly recreated following the original choice of materials.

Suffolk National Park, with its rare species of migratory birds, is only a short walk away. The Broads, with their fascinating walkways, are a short drive to the west. Couples wanting a relaxing day out will love the drive through winding country lanes to Cambridge.
