Tithe Barn Cottage
The Tithe Barn template has graphics with edges that mimic torn paper. As with all the Handcrafted Websites templates the colour scheme can be changed to suit your taste and the materials you want to use on the site. The page content can be as sparse or as full as you like.
Instead of a static photo at the top, you could have a slideshow. Photos can be combined with text, either laid over the photos with a semi-transparent background or placed to one side. Some of out other templates provide examples of slideshows and sliding content areas in action. They can be used on any template.
As with all our web designs we will only use up-to-date, standards compliant code to build the pages. Amongst other things invalid outdated coding can have deleterious consequences for your listing with Google and the other search engines.
At no extra charge we can install the widgets you need on your pages to display things like reviews on TripAdvisor or feeds from either your Twitter page or Facebook page. We can also integrate a button for an online booking service, should you need one. We have an availability calendar that you also might find useful. For online payments we would recommend using the PayPal service, which we can also integrate into your website.
If you need to update your site frequently you should consider having it built with a content managment system (CMS). That gives you the ability to alter key parts of the site (both text and images) yourself without having to worry about the code used to build the pages. We can build the site with a CMS that is easy to use and that is optimised to work well with the search engines. The latter is an important point as many CMSs are not well optimised "out of the box". A site that is not well optimised is one that will be difficult to find through the search engines and so will have very few visitors.
