Managed hosting on reliable UK servers

This hosting is available exclusively to clients of Handcrafted Websites, whose business websites have been designed or redesigned by us. "Managed hosting" means that we remain responsible for the good functioning of the site on the server. In the rare event that there are problems with the server, we will undertake to sort them out at no extra cost.

The hosting is provided on UK servers (important for Google and the other search engines if you're doing business for the UK market primarily).

Our all-inclusive hosting package covers:

• Hosting on UK servers
• Linux hosting with full support for scripts
• No extra charge for databases (for calendars, CMS, etc)
• Up to three business email addresses
• Email forwarding
• Auto-responders for email addresses
• Control panel to manage email accounts & to access stats, etc.
• Your own FTP access, should you need it

• Infrequent updates by us of existing text and photos throughout the year (for static websites)

For larger sites the cost will depend on the projected bandwidth and hard disc space needed.

Free transfers

Do you have a site that you want redesigning? We will transfer it to our servers at no extra charge. This can be done so that there is no downtime and no adverse effect on either your Google ranking or your incoming links (the search engines do not penalise websites that are moved from one server to another).
